
Hailing from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, the self-proclaimed Prince of the Prairies loves to laugh and get wild. Afrin has performed on stages across Saskatchewan and BC; venues such as the Roxy Theatre and Broadway Theatre in Saskatoon.
Afrin is only 23 years old but is already at the beginning of his fifth year performing as a stand-up comic. Afrin claims that being of Cree and Romanian descent is what made him so exotic. His comedy goes on to detail his own silliest stories and social dilemmas he sees in today’s society.
These days Afrin also co-hosts The Comedy Picnic, an open mic located at the High Key Brewing Co. Additionally, he has recently found success in comedy competitions throughout SK and AB.

Up-and-coming comedian Aimee Grimard is a spinster with a big heart and a bunch of kids. She enjoys getting a laugh out of people and sharing her adventures. Her ADHD allows her to attempt many things and even sometimes to completion. Comedy has captured her attention … “ouuu shiny” … and she has fallen in love! She has opened for some of Saskatchewan and Alberta's finest Headlining comedians.

Andrea is a Saskatoon based comic. She’s performed for Yuk Yuk’s and told jokes at many bars, back rooms, backyards and garages. She hopes to perform in a tree house one day. Andrea will keep you laughing with her offbeat stories, raw observations and curious musings.

Anjelene Mittelholtz is a rising stand-up comedian known for her sharp wit and relatable humor. She has performed all over Western Canada at Fringe Festivals in Saskatoon, Calgary and Vancouver. As well as at festivals such as SouthRock Comedy Festival and Winteruption. With a background in acting, she brings a versatile and engaging presence to the stage, captivating audiences with her sharp humour and charismatic performances.

Anna Linassi is a 21 year old comedian from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. From hosting shows at the Saskatoon Fringe festival to sharing the stage with names like Kelly Taylor and Jody Peters at Funny Business YXE, Linassi has reached great heights within her first two years of comedy. Her biggest accomplishment is having her show poster hung above urinals in a public bathroom.

Derek has opened for such Canadian favorites as Lisa Baker, Kelly Taylor as well as being selected as the opening act for Hamilton powerhouse Eric Johnston on his 2019 Small Town Tour. Derek’s unconventional life and wildly open approach to stand up is something that needs to be seen

Joseph Williams (aka Chief Joe) is a 29-year-old Cree comedian from Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation, currently based in Saskatoon. By day, he works in IT. By night, he's on the mic bringing laughter to stages across Canada.
Since starting his comedy journey in August 2024, Chief Joe has performed in Saskatoon, Lloydminster, Edmonton, Winnipeg, and Toronto. His unique brand of comedy weaves together the hilarious chaos of board games, the quirks of his family, and the contrasts of growing up on the Rez while now navigating life in the “big” city.

Peggy was raised in Boone North Carolina and somehow ended up in Regina, so she’s a cross between a hillbilly and a delicate prairie Lilly. She’s a tiny bit older than the rest but brings 70 years of crazy life experience to the mic as she tells her tall tales and offers sage-less and ageless advice to the generations. She likes marshmallows, dogs, and raccoons, and hanging out in Africa.


Ryan Moccasin is an author, satirist, and comedian from Saskatoon. He is currently editor for the online satirical news website called The Feather. His fake news articles and videos have been featured on APTN InFocus and CBC. His work has garnered over thousands of views and impressions on social media. His work has been funded by the Saskatchewan Arts Board and Paved Arts. His recent sci-fi novel "Suicide Empire" was featured on CBC Radio, APTN, and Eagle Feather News. It can be found on Amazon and wherever fringe books are sold near you. He has also written a Christmas screenplay for the Gordon Tootoosis Native Theatre Company. When not pretending he knows how to write plays, he is also working on his next novel called "Lullaby For Emily" which is slated for release in 2022. Aside from pitching a TV show to Netflix in 2020, he is currently focusing on a new season of videos for The Feather as well as performing stand up comedy wherever possible.

Rory McCorriston is trying his best to be a stand-up comedian in Regina, Saskatchewan. And it’s going okay. Over the past 5 years, Rory has been part of many funny things that stopped happening after he started doing them, such as Hitchhiker’s Improv, B’rude Sketch Comedy and One Night Only Sketch Comedy. He once co-produced a comedy show at Regina’s Cathedral Social Hall and it was fun. They even built a stage and made shirts.
Lately, Rory has enjoyed performing stand-up around various Saskatchewan locations such as the Cure Kitchen + Bar in Regina and Yuk Yuk’s in Saskatoon. And luckily the audiences have also enjoyed it.

Shannon Mallory is a stand-up comedian, improvisor, and professional yapper. They have big dreams, bigger feelings, medium-sized opinions and assorted collection diagnoses. Come along on the journey! (Please, it's not ideal that they take it alone)

Shawn Bourassa is a Saskatoon comedian who has been performing for 5 years. He has a very illustrious touring career performing at venues such as The Lucky Lake Community Centre, some bar in North Battleford, and a fundraising event in Wakaw! He is a must see…just ask him!

Shawn Cuthand is half Cree, half Mohawk, but all deadly. He got into comedy to honour his storytelling ancestors. He has made appearances at the Winnipeg Fringe, Woke Comedy Hour, Laughter is Medicine in Winnipeg, Comedy Monday Night in Calgary and was lucky enough to get drawn out of the bucket on Kill Tony, the #1 live comedy podcast in the world. He recently did his first half hour at Yuk Yuk's as well.
You used to be able to see him alongside Danny Knight as hosts of the Funny Bone Schmomedy Zone open mic at the Copper Mug in Saskatoon. Shy Sapp is a Nehiyaw actor, comedian, writer, and emerging film maker from Little Pine First Nation in Treaty 6 Territory. Known for her bold, captivating presence and razor-sharp wit, Shy brings Indigenous stories to life through humour, heart, and fearless authenticity.
She is best known for her role on the hit CTV sitcom Acting Good, nominated for Best Comedic Ensemble at the 2024 Canadian Screen Awards. Her stand-up comedy has taken her across Canada, the U.S., and Aotearoa (New Zealand), where she headlined the Indig-E Girl Comedy Showcase and performed at the Saskatoon, Vancouver, and Wellington Fringe Festivals. Shy was also featured in the 2025 Winnipeg Comedy Festival “Maybe It’s Me” Mega Show and “Bannock Bums” show.
Her theatre credits include Sir John A: Acts of a Gentrified Ojibwe Rebellion, Mary of Patuanak, and Baba and the Gift of the Kokum Scarf, which she also co-wrote. As a playwright, she has developed original work through Gordon Tootoosis Nikaniwin Theatre’s New Voices Program and 25th Street Theatre, with a new production scheduled for 2026.
Currently, Shy is writing and directing He Perceives It: The Allen Sapp Story, a documentary about her grandfather, the renowned Cree painter Dr. Allen Sapp, told from an intimate family perspective.
